Attorney Shannon McCarthy has been trial attorney at Kenny Brimmer since passing the CT bar in 1998. She became a principal in the firm in 2011. Her extensive litigation experience has focused on civil matters, handling a multitude of Personal Injury and Insurance Defense matters along with Real Estate, Worker’s Compensation and Probate work. She is currently counsel to Frontier Communications of CT d/b/a SNET and also counsel to AT&T, for its property damage recovery unit and defense of its personal injury and property damage claims.

She has attained the highest possible rating of “AV” from Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, indicating preeminent legal ability and the highest ethical standards in the practice of law.

Attorney McCarthy handles both mediations and arbitrations on a variety of cases. She follows in the footsteps of her mentors, the late Leslie Brimmer, Esq. and Atty. Richard Mahoney (recently retired). Her decades of trial experience on both the plaintiff and defense side have given her the right perspective to be an effective and fair mediator and arbitrator.
