A strong background in the insurance property and casualty claim industry combined with over a decade representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases and working as a neutral gives Nitanya Andrews a unique perspective to evaluate tort cases. From 1987-1993, Nitanya held a number of positions at Liberty Mutual specializing in auto/general liability and worker’s compensation claims. She then went to Commercial Union Insurance Co., where she served as a home office regional consultant on catastrophic losses. In this capacity, she controlled corporate reserves, settlement authority up to $650,000 and communicated for field claim operations to senior management on multi-million dollar losses. She also formulated and monitored litigation strategies in complex suits, in addition to participating in high-exposure mediations, arbitrations and trials. Finally, Attorney Andrews worked as regional director for home office major claims at Travelers Insurance until 2001, when she left the insurance industry to open The Law Office of Nitanya G. Andrews in Stoughton, MA, specializing in plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
